God
says ….. that these represent my Angels that are protecting this city from the attacks of the Devil… Continue to be
bold in all that you do for me and I will give you all you could ask for, for
this city and you will receive your hearts desire!
Well this is definately what is happening to me and as I write this. The devil is attacking me by him causing my van to have a water leak that could be expensive to get repaired, and not being able to get the repairs done until next week, due to house sitting out of the city and needing it for transport. But I know God will keep the engine cool until after the weekend so I can continue to use it without any problems.
e God's
goodness has been to my benefit recently in the way of supplying my
wants without having any of the expense with me aquiring things free of
charge when told by people to dump them. The most recent thing I have
recieved was a 99% complete Public Address system. I have always wanted
this sort of equipment, to have around to assist anyone that would need
the use of same for an event, and on doing some clearance work for
church I have aquired it, not with all the sundry bits but, I can build
them up as I have the funds later. The kit includes 1 mixing desk, 1
pair of speakers, 3 amplifiers in a flight case, 1 multicore cable and two monitor speakers, all of whch would come to a pretty tidy sum if they needed purchasing from new. After a field test wit a friend in the know, it's being used at another chirch community to suplement their equipment until I need it elsewhere. But the needs elsewhere wont come until Christmas and the birthday Jam session, but for now it's settled in for a few weeks.......
Elsewhere I've had another good four weeks of work, enough paid to keep the bills paid and an amount of unpaid where it's been enjoyable doing things that help my work ability develop more.
On a personal front a young friend of mine from our St Andrews Church community had to have an operation on his wrist recently and was told he would need a second one to finalise the problem he's had with the tendons on it. I'm just praying that this second operation will not need to take place and he will have full pain free operation of this wrist by the time the plaster and dressings come off when he attends hospital again next week.
My personal health has improved somewhat, my first cholisterol comparison came back down two points and has dropped from 8 points to 6 points, but I have had to go onto two tablets a day instead of one. I've now had an expensive private bloodtest done to see if my high cholisterol is a result of a gene deficiency and should find out in March, when I next
see the specialist, how things are decreasing or not.
So prayer for health would be apreciated................Thanks
In the St Andrews Youth Work things are going very well with new people coming along each week. We must by now, having been running for just about a year had over 150 children come through the club, with about 55 to 60(max number for a week) children attending each week. This runs along side a drop in club we run after school, where about 12 children will call in over the two hour session. The children are encouraged to attend the 'God Slot' and about two thirds will attend, although it's not copulsory. Prayer is needed that they all will attend and in time they will accept God as their Father.
With Christmas coming up quickly it's getting to a busy period for work and I'm sure I wont be short of things to do during the festive season. As seems to have become the usual thing, I have the pleasure of joining family for Christmas and New Year with time away relaxing and helping out to give time for others to relax and unwind.
At this time of year I think and pray for the members of the family and wider family who are taking exams this coming summer and pray that they will be able to study without getting stressed out. So please join me in this and also include the members of the Church and Youth Club who are in the same situation.
As usual I seem to have gone on typing for too long and it will be pretty boring not having too many pictures to draw your attention to parts of this post, so I'll just shut up and end with this thought.......
