Almost the last day 25th July 2009

Saturday 25th July started very slowly with a trip out to the Gospel Forum for breakfast and a shower. This place was a church but a lot more, more a church and community centre. This church is the largest in Stuttgart with aproximately 3000 people attending. After a shower breakfast was set out in a sportshall and as we were eating the place slowly filled as the young people on Summer 2 Go slowly as they slowly emerged from their beds. After we'd finnished we set off back to site and we're soon chilling out doing odd jobs on the stage and discussing how to develop the awning so it's easier to use. After stopping for lunch we start to get the stage ready for use, inflating the roof and setting up the sound system. Eventually the band turn up and so it's plug them into the system and then sound checking them ready to start.
So the show starts, but unlike the first night there was not the buzz and feeling of expectancy and that showed by the attendance and response, with both being on the low side. The event seemed to drag on and ended up with no one around, only the relief mission people and so the event was concluded. After packing up for the night we depart for another eat as much as you like Chinese and had our fill of food for the night all ready to go in the morning. During the evening Steve and myself had the privilage of praying for a guy by the name of Mateus, a mature man on the mission 2 go team who wanted to a work for God but didnt have a clear picture of what it was. After sharing with him we felt he was in a simmilar situation to what I was a few years ago when I left home in Essex and so I felt that was an encouragement for him. After praying for him and talking to him we left him encouraged and late for his bus back to his accomodation. So that has been the highlite of the trip thus
far with one day of mission left to go. So feel encouraged all you who are praying, God is doing a work in Germany that has been sealed as it was in the time of Noah by a rainbow in the sky over the country as shown, so God bless till next post later on today.
