Well friends, greetings from Hamburg , as we all know in Germany!! ha, ha. The Time here with Miracle Street has been as ever mind blowing. Even though the weather has been very wet. Gods power has been overflowing as ever and over the events we have put on in Sudringsplatt many people both young and old came to know Jesus for themselves at least fifty if not more.
Monday we set up in the local skateboard park and held an open mic event where young people could perform. This event was filled with performers well before the event started and so we had performers on stage for two hours, with some of them putting the word of God out to kids in there own language and style. It was not clear if any kids committed themselves to God but they were definately under the word throughout the evening. So that was the last of the Hamburg events and we are in the process of two days off, relaxing and chilling out. Having visited the centre of Hamburg and frequenting two different coffee shops on consecutive days we have sampled the delights of shopping establishments as well. Tomorrow, the 23rd July we make our way down to Stutggart for three events there, please pray for us as we have to drive aprox 600km the same sort of distance as we did from Dunkirk to Hamburg but going the length of Germany instead. On Sunday morning I went with a number of young people to an open air market, where we were going to do some open air evengelism. I definately got a shock when we arrived at the Fischmarket as, at 0600hrs there were thousands of people of all ages checking out the many stalls. With an escape from a straight jacket by Steve Lee and the preaching of the word, we slowed the crowd movement up and many heard the gospel at that time. After another escape by Steve we moved to the other end of the market and again the gospel was preached. It was quite an experience and I really appreciated God wanting me to be there for the experience of his goodness. I'm sorry I have not posted any photos as I said I would, but it turns out that here in Germany it's costing me £2.50 per meg to post on here and one photo is at least one meg in size and would become too expensive. I must say it's been lovely staying with Winfried and Gaby Wentland who are directors of the Reinhard Bonnke organisation, who as I said before own seven properties and grounds in Hamburg. Anyway please pray for us as we travel, rig and derig as it can be very stressful in what we have to do. We should be back in the UK at 2200hrs on Monday and after that I'll do a full report with pictures of the whole time. Anyway God bless you all and thank you for your prayers. Love Alistaire.
