Sunday 15th February
As I sit here at church I feel God is just so mindblowingly good. When I've been in need, he has supplied that need and so much more, as he has done in the past day. Having aquired a big debt before Christmas, I find today that I can clear it at the end of this week. As the bible says " My God will supply all your needs according to his riches in Christ Jesus." It's so great to know that our God will answer us if we trust him. This morning on waking up at 0500hrs I finish sorting out the problems on my laptop, involving reinstalling some software that also kicked other software into operating correctly and then it was time to get up and get ready to open up Central Hall for the days meetings with the aim of sharing Gods goodness with those who attend. This happened fairly early on and was introduced by the meeting host and left to say my piece which was readily taken on board by those listening. After a time of praise and worship the speaker gives a talk about his latest trip abroard with his School of Ministry, training new pastors around the world and helping set up churches and church plants in different countrys where they're thirsty for this training. After the report he expounded scripture in his easy to listen way and then gave a call for anyone who wante
d prayer to come forward. At the end of the meeting it was off home via the shops to get some more food supplies in and then off home to enjoy some of the goodies. After an afternoon of television and computering it's back to church for the evening meeting, which started off with a time of sharing and the into sharing in a meal together along with a one on one time of encouragement and prayer for each other. Then working around those still chatting I started to clear up and condense down the tables of food. Once everything was cleared up it was time for me to finish locking down the building, which didnt take long and then it's out of the gates, shut and lock the gates and head for home. Now in bed I'm finishing off this blog entry for today and soon I'll be settling down for the night with no work planned for tomorrow. So Good Night & God Bless You.................
Monday 16th February
After the good news of the weekend today bought the attacks from the Devil. The bombshell No1 I'm stuck with an anoying stuff up by the DVLA passing an alledged nonpayment of road tax for a vehicle I'd disposed of in 2007 to a debt recovery agency, the first I knew of the Penalty being when the notice of litigation came through my door. The penalty was alledgedly issued in September 2008, but I had notified DVLA in writing before that as I'd lost the log book during my move to Southampton and the car had been scrapped before the date of the penalty. Due to being harrased by the debt recovery agency I cave in and pay the penalty, even though I cant afford it and that gets them off my back. I've now got to find money from somewhere to cover this. Later in the day came bombshell No2 that I've got no work for the whole of this wee
k, leaving me well short of money to cover my start of month expenses, how the devil likes to get to me. Anyway thats the moans and groans over and now the rest of the day. This was spent on doing work on the new bus for a while, cleaning rubber and glue from the old upstairs carpet off the floor. As you can see from the picture opposite the work took longer than expected and the amount removed did not seem to equate to the time spent. Getting a sore hand in the process, I call it a day after being advised that my services are needed as bus driver chaperone for the evening, so with the evening booked up it's off home to unwind and prepare for the evening. At 1730hrs I depart to St Marys Fire Station ready to join the bus and go out to Harefield Estate. After an uneventful evening working on the bus, it's not too long before we're on our way back to the fire station at the end and are soon parked up and I'm on my way home. The rest of the evening I work on my laptop and end up losing all my work when the software crashes. So it's time to settle down to sleep and as my mum and dad used to say, Good Night & God Bless You.............

Tuesday 17th February
Well today was good and a useful start to the week of work. It was not until 0830hrs that I knew that I'd be working when I recieved a phonecall from my boss to see if I wanted work and how quickly could I get to Chilworth to Fibrecom.
After getting to the site by 0900hrs we have to wait for another hour or more before we get the tower we needed to access the roof. We then had to build the tower before we could start work, but fortunately it did'nt take long and we were soon hard at it. The job involved clearing out the gutters and then going over the rubber felt joints looking for places where the welded joints were parting company and letting water in. It was then up to my other boss to heat weld them back together and hopefully making them watertight again. Well the day went very quickly and after we had checked all the joints where the water was getting in it was finish off and then home. After having got home and sorted out with food, it's settle down for my tele watching marathon for the rest of the evening. So it's relax and look forward to work again tomorrow. So earlier than usual it's Good Night & God Bless You ......
in the roof of the Chisholm School at Wooten Fields. We had to get an idea from the maintainance staff where the leaks were, then go up on the roof and try and recreate the leaks with a hose. Out of the three leaks spoken of it turned out there was only one that became a waterfall down inside the school libruary. After lunch we carried on with our investigations and when we'd packed up it was a case of where were the car keys? Inside the car that had locked itself
when the boot had been closed. After this we have a call that tells us of another leak to investigate, but how long do we have to wait to get the hose out of the car, only two hours before the RAC man gets to us. So how long does it take for an RAC patrol to move the fleece with the keys i
n to a place where the zip on the pocket can be undone and the keys retrieved? After an hour the keys were retrieved but the only problem was the key fob could not come out of the gap opened out by the patrolman, the way we completed the job was to press a button on the fob to unlock the door and then get the keys off the wire. This now enabled us to get the hose out again and go off to try and re-create the leak, which we fail to do. and so on clearing up we soon depart and join the ranks of the evening commuters and the two hour trip home. After an uneventful trip home for me, we arrive back at the bosses by 1930hrs having had a very rapid passage and getting back earlier than expected. After my short trip home I set to my F.B.TV and then a well earned Sleeeeep so aftter a short time its Good Night & God Bless You...
ed with a nice relax in bed and a leasurely start as I have no work and so I contact Kelvin about doing work on the bus for two days, which is good in one way of helping get the work on it done quicker, but does not help me financially. Anyway I have to go down to Central Hall and see Kelvin for the keys and a chat and end up having lunch there as well. After a call into Halfords for some parts to cure the oil leak on the car, and end up with a parking ticket ln the process, all because I couldnt park in the bay correctly due to the car next to me. Anyway after all this I get to the bus and take out my frustration on the floor with the glue and rubber lifting a whole lot easier with the help of a new scraper from Central Hall and the job went a whole lot quicker. Soon I get to a point where I call it a day and go and have a look at sorting out my car oil leak. The position of the oil filter makes it dificult to get at and so I'll have to spike the filter to undo it. Also the drain bung is athe n awkward one to get out as it's an inside hole and needs a special spanner, so I'll have to get the filter changed and hope the oil wont run out everywhere . Anyway I'll be off the road and it wont matter too much if it spews everywhere. So tomorrow it'll be put the new oil filter on and clean any of the engine up too. So it's time to get home and then it's F,B,TV. with sleep later so its Good Night & God Bless You.........

An eventful day that started out with a trip to Northampton before we start our day of investigative work searching for leaks

Friday 20th February
Another day without any paid work, but with the prospects of working on the new bus for another day and hopefully finishing off the scraping of the floor that I started previously. When I eventually get motivated and get to the bus I find on getting started that they used a different glue for this half and find that it's harder to lift than the first half. So after the day at it I have to give up the job and say that it wont come off without lifting layers of wood as well.So I call it quits and head off home to get ready for my trip to Bognor Regis to spend time with the family there. When I contact them to confirm the stay I'm told to come whenever I'm ready and so it's sort things out, get packed and head off via the garage to get diesel for the trip and empty the car for the weekend as well. So I hit the road for the hours trip there and it soon passes without any hold ups and soon in the company of the family. After a meal together it's relax for the evening and later sleeeeeeeeep. A nice start to the family time and so on completion of the day it's Good Night & God bless You....
was a slow start getting going at about 1030hrs, taking a trip to The Brook in Bersted to excercise Sam the dog. On arrival Sam had fun romping around, enjoying the ground water that was sitting on the serface in large puddles. With her nose in the water and running along Sam ended up soaking wet and did she love it. Once we'd finished our lap of the reserve it was back in the car and then home for lunch. After lunch we split up with one party goes shopping and I have two passengers to go shopping in the opposite direction, going to Halfords and Matterlan. At Halfords I have to get a mirror for the car and then my two passengers get clothing. Its then go to meet up with the other party at Morrisons and then head for home. After a wait it's collect one additional passenger and then head back home. Once there it's chill out with music and computer work for the evening and then it's sleeeep... So it's Good Night & God Bless You.
