Sunday 22nd February
The day was spent on the bus again working on the worktop and clearing out the rubbish, scrap timber and tools as we went. The day went on with shopping, fitting out, the blacking out of the windows and then fitting in a sink unit the day progressed steadily and soon it's days end and time to clear the bus ready for going back to it's parking place. After about half an hour clearing up it's get the bus on the road and it's soon on it way. After parking up it's a lift back to Central Hall and I'm soon on my way home with a load of scrap wood and it's time to myself with F.B.TV. Sleeeeep, having first updated this blog for three days. So it's

If you dont normally read the bible take time to use this link, type www.biblegateway.com into your browser and where it says Quick Search type in Isaiah 35 and read the passage that I feel was meant for me and anyone else in my position. You can see how the passage fits in with my life as it is and so I must continually give God thanks for all this. As I put in my notes for this entry
With all this to my benefit, how can I ever stop thanking God.
I must share all the good and all the bad with anyone who asks, so if you have any issues you want to talk about then send me an e-mail and I'll help you where I can or I'll look for an answer for you.
So God Bless You and remember that God is in charge, look to him for the answer.
Another slow
day starting at 1030hrs for breakfast and then home church at 1100hrs. The devotional time lasted for half an hour and then two are off out to the church to collect my light rig mixer and collect the offering ready to bank. I then go out to walk Sam the Dog round The Brook again, a nice walk is had but the morning was a bit colder than previously but still enjoyed by Sam all the same. When I get back to the car I have a phone call asking to stop off and get some yorkshire pudds at the local shops. This was just right and so it was fitted in easily and then off home again. The rest of the day was chill out and spend time online updating and expanding my music library Come 1400hrs we all get a call for dinner and after that more online time to 1830 when one of the family has to leave to return to school. Fifteen minutes after the departure I head off for home and after a stop, start trip home. I get straight into bed on getting in and I'm soon crashing out and sleeeeeping. So it's, as usual Good Night & God Bless You, and thank God always for His Goodness every day.
be working with Paul, a guy I'd worked with previously. The aim was to start building in seating on the top deck, repairing the flooring and refurbishing the catering area, also on the top deck. Once the bus was in position in the gravel car park it was time for a discussion as to what had to be done, where the seating was going to go and how much repair work need to be done to the floor. Once we'd ascertained the requirements of the job it was going off to get the materials in and then it was getting started on the fitting out job, which was Pauls design and cutting of materials and then I had to screw most of the bits together. At the end of the day which arrived very quickly we get packed up and off home. Evening was spent chilling out in bed and watching TV and having my dinner. So after a short evenings entertainment I settle down to sleeeeeeeeep so it's Good Night & God Bless You .....
at was to be done further and what needed to be done to the kitchen area. During the day I had a phone call asking if I could take the bus down to Mansbridge and back for the evening as the planned driver had an emergency callout and could not be involved. So after finishing work at 1700hrs I'm off home until 1750hrs, then off to the bus for 1800hrs. At the bus I get it started and depart for Mansbridge at 1820hrs. The trip takes twenty minutes and I'm soon parked up at the bottom of Octavia Road outside the playground and all set up ready for the kids to arrive. Eventually the kids start arriving and so the evening develops with the usual cups of hot chocolate being given out, but all to soon the time runs out and the bus is soon packed up with the usual debrief being held before departure back to St Marys. Eventually I get on the road and soon am back in the fire station after a very clear road back. After parking up in one movement I'm in the car and off home quickly getting home due to the empty roads. The rest of the evening is spent with TV/Video and then sleeeeeep so it's Good Night & God Bless You ........

Monday 23rd February
Today was something different as there was no work for me for today and tomorrow and so I was booked to go with the new bus from its parking place to Central Hall so work could be done on it in a secure environment. I was going to

Tuesday 24th February
The day started at Central Hall at 0830hrs developing the top deck of the bus. As yesterday Paul cut the timber and I screwed it all together and so the seating develops at a rapid rate. By the end of the day the seating units were complete and the holes in the floor were replaced with new timber and so that was the initial jobs done and new discussion was needed as to wh

Wednesday 25th February
Well today it was work on the bus with Paul and had a profitable day. It was finishing off the seats, and then developing the cate
ring / servery area. When we started dismantaling the window covers, the mdf was soaking wet and the wet had permiated the worktop and one of the cupboard carcases, thus making it in need of replacement. Due to a void being found in the corner of the cupboard area we had to remove one of the front units and using that carcas cut down to relace the rotten one, we had a nice mop and bucket storage area. While Kelvin the Boss was out shopping I had to clean the film off the window and that needed graffiti remover to get rid of the glue. Once this was done it was fit the carcases back together and cut supports down to size to make the storage area This worked through until the days end and and so it was pack up and off home after having to wait at Central Hall longer than usual while our leader delt with a phone call that went on for ages. Once I'd locked up it was off home with F.TV.B & Sleeeep which did not take long. So it's Good Night & God Bless You ................

Thursday 26th February
Back to the bus and concentrated work on the Cater
ing / Servery area. Everything is prepared ready for securing the worktops that needed cutting to size and getting the electrics sorted out above the worktop height. Then I have to go and do a job that turned into a nightmare. On the outside of the bus are two ventilation shafts with grills on them. I turns out the grills have come out of the rubber gasket and was hanging off into the shaft and looking a mess. I then had to fit them back into the rubber gasket that was a nightmare to do. After getting the grill into the rubber its another nightmare getting the locking strip into the rubber, that took ages to do, aprox 35 minutes. This repeated on the other side of the bus saw me busy to the days end. So it's off home and the usual F. B. TV. Sleeeeeeeeep.

Good Night & God Bless You ..........
Saturday 28th February
Not a lot to write about today, spent all day in bed, hopping out to feed and drink and answer natures call whenever needed and with my trusty laptop on my bed and TV and video nearby that was all I did all day. But when you're veging out for so long it gives you time to think of Gods goodness and how he cares for me and looks after me each day of my life, it's something I'd encourage anyone who loves God to write down all the special ways in which he's done special things in your life. So here we go with my list of Gods Goodness.1] For My move to Southampton and getting a place to live straight away.
2] For settling into a new church family at New Community Church in the city.
3] For giving me a new job working for World Vision on a project called Schoolaid
4] For the job running safely and making it an enjoyable experience.
5] For friends in Southampton to help me when problems arise
6] For family to help, support and encourage me in my faith.
7] For assistance when money was tight.
8] Providing when debts could not be seen to be ever met in any way.
9] Enabling me to share my money when times were pleantiful
10] Giving me the prospects of traveling abroad when I cant afford to take any holiday
With all these things how can I ever stop thanking God for his goodness.
