Keep Your Head Up, Still Got No Money.

Sunday 8th March
Well after a brilliant evening and a reasonable night in the van it's meet up with Eliot and go and watch him play badminton with some of the other boarders. This is an enjoyable event as I am able to listen to some instruction that I never knew about the game and has given me some pointers for the improving of mine. At the end of this time I decided to depart home and so it off on the road and try to get a route home via the straight on route at the traffic lights on the A24. Eventually I find my way down to the A27 and so I use the main drags to get home. Once I got home I sort out some food and then it's B.TV. & ZZZZZZZZZZZ, getting to sleep relatively early compared to normal. So Good Night & God Bless You..!

Monday 9th March
Well it's another one of those days without any work, but, I was not really worried as I had to take the new bus keys back to Kelvin as we'd booked another day of refurbishment on it with our electrical friend Tim. With a vast amount of work to do we were able to get a great amount of it done and so things were developed accordingly. After the day working it's home and unwind and get ready for two days of work with Jireh Construction. So after F.B.TV. it's zzzzzzzzz so it's Good Night & God Bless You.

Tuesday 10th March
The day started with a trip to Crawley to do what should be an easy job of curing two leaks in a school hall roof. The first one was relativly easy, we had to strip three capping strips off the top of the roof apex and refit them with new mastic and rivits. A first experienced by me at this time was the first war wound to be recieved by me, a 12cm scratch to my forearm. This was sore for the rest of the day, but this did not detract from the work at hand and the first repair was soon completed. The other one was a bit harder to do as we had no ladder that was tall enough to get above the capping strips, so it was a case of seal it with mastic from where we could reach. This was soon completed and we soon were departing home after a short time of actual work. When we got back it was relax and chill for me for the rest of the day before taking the Big Red Bus out to the Mansbridge Estate for the time of Youth Work in that area. Soon the kids depart after an enjoyable evening and I'm taking the bus back to St Marys Fire Station, where it is soon parked up, very easily done. Then it's head home and again it's F.B.TV and then ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ ready for another day of work tomorrow. So it's Good Night & God Bless You.

Wednesday 11th March
Another day of traveling to work, calling in at Upham to collect the van and take some bits off to Belvidere in Kent, just outside Dartford to put up two sets of sample panels so they could be evaluated by the customer. We had to stop off at Lakesmere Offices to drop off some panels to them and then proceed to Site as quickly as we could. Unfortunately due to following the sat nav we managed to get to site an hour later than we were meant to and so we got our Induction alone and then we were shown where we were to work and left to continue to clad the fence with the six panels, some of the panels had to be sprayed as we went. This job takes longer putting up the framework than putting on the panels and that gives the sprayer time to do his stuff as well. We soon had the panels on and were soon clearing up and departing for home. The journey home was quite uneventful and we're soon back at base and departing for home. At 2000hrs I have my usual telephone chat with Eliot and make plans for the coming weekend. It's the a case of TV. and then zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz. Before I settle down for the sleep I have a phone call saying that I have work for the next two days if I want it. Not being able to turn down work I accept it and so prepare for the next days work. So now it's zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz time and so it's Good Night & God Bless You.
