Time Waits For No One (for dates to 27th June)

What have I been doing over the past three weeks? not a lot to right home about but it's rushing by like the days of the week are as well as the months as well.
The past two weeks I've been doing some interior decorating, outdoor gardening and building new kitchen units for a friend with a day sanding floorboards in two rooms on Saturday next, the first time I'll have used and industrial sanding machine, so should be game for a laugh.
Over the past few weeks I've done some work for New Community Church, stewarding at two comercial events and enjoying them as well. Last Wednesday evening I assisted in stewarding an awards evening run by the City College. It was only a short event but was good for socialising in and I met up with a guy who had worked in Central Hall before the church bought it. The other event was more interesting and was for last Saturday afternoon, when Southampton Concert Orchestra ran an afternoon Family Concert at Central Hall. It was a very enjoyable concert and covered all types of music, from old composers to current ones it was a very entertaining four hours.
This past week I've had fun of the bad type, when I booked my car into a garage for last Monday to have an oil leak sorted out, on the Sunday I come out to drive to church and I find I have a flat tyre and no spare to use. So after a half hour's walk to church and a lift back afterwards I get to try and get the wheel off and take to Kwikfit Tyre centre at the bottom of the road. When I start to get the tools out I find I dont have a wheel brace and so have to walk down to Kwikfit to see if they have mobile set up to help me out. On arrival there I find they dont have a tyre in my price range and so have to call in on Monday morning when they will get one in for me. Before I leave I spot a wheel brace and so getting it at a very cheep price, I am able to take the wheel down with me on Monday morning. So after a relaxing rest of the day I have a reasonably early night and am soon up ready for a busy day on Monday. Monday morning, not having any work for the week, I take the wheel off the car and head for Kwik fit and the replacement tyre. After waiting for about forty five minnutes the guy rings up his supplier only to be told that the one that was showing in stock on their computer could not be physically found. So after an hour waiting the guy has to order one from the kwik fit supplier and that would not be delivered until sometime on Tuesday. So I have to go and rearrange the car's attendance at the garage for the Tuesday afternoon and hope the tyre is ready by that time. So after awaiting for a call from Kwik fit for most of the day again, I finally get a call at 1500hrs and by the time I've got it back to the car and fitted it's 1600hrs when I finally get it to the garage. Fortunately it's all OK and so it spends it's time in the garage until 1600hrs on Thursday. The expense for the tyre and cure of the oil leak was very low considering what had been done and I was very grateful to God for the size of the bills. So by the end of Thursday I have my day planned for Friday and need to make time for domestic engineering (house work) before I go off to work next week and then out to Germany with Miracle Street the following week. So as ever God is looking after me and I'm forever grateful for it all and I'm ready to share things with all readers of this site.
