06 June 2009:- Well friends what a day I've had God has once again blown me away in showing his goodness to me and my friends in Miracle Street.
The day started early heading for Portsmouth for a trip to Caen and to meet up with two French Couples and some friends from Kent to Pray for France and the local churches in the Caen area. We left Portsmouth on the fast ferry leaving at 0700hrs and arrived in Caen by 1100hrs (french time) We were met by one of our friends and his wife who provided us with a beautiful lunch and then down onto Sword beach to pray and talk about the way forward with them. When we get onto the beach we introduce ourselves to each other and then Steve Lee explains what we were going to do and then he prays for us all. We then spread out around the beach, seeking Gods word for the French situation and the future of the Miracle Street work in the Normandy area and especially round Caen. During the time of prayer we commision one of our French friends as an evangelist and pray for him and Steve as they aim to work together to establish a DDay type bridgehead on the beaches of Normandy as happened during world war 2. After praying for an hour we have to get back to the ferry terminal to get our trip back to Portsmouth. With the promise to return again we head for the boat and arrive in nice time to check in and sit down for a few minutes. It's not long before we're settled on the boat and it's soon on it's way, a five hour crossing this time. But after a busy trip back we're soon on our way back to our respective homes.
For those of you who will support the work of Miracle Street in prayer, here are a few pointers:-

For those of you who will support the work of Miracle Street in prayer, here are a few pointers:-
- Pray for our new evangelist as he has to talk certain things through with a very anti charismatic church leader and for the outcome to be of benefit to the church not detrimental.
- Pray for Steve as he continues to work with the new evangelist in developing a strategy for Northern France so the bridgehead can be set in place.
- Please pray for the whole of the European tour, that things will be set in concrete instead of being up in the air, as the devil is trying to destroy these evangelistic meetings by getting the authorities to refuse to let the mainstage set up in their town or city.
- Please pray for Steve personally, that he will not get stressed as he talks to people about the summer events and how things are going to work (or not)
- Please pray for the continued funding of this year of European travel for Miracle Street.
- Pray for the team, going to look after the logistics of this tour, that they will be protected in whatever they have to do.
Thank you all for your support oh faithful friend and prayer warrior, without it we would be in trouble
